SFBAPA MEETING INFORMATION

EVITES: All meeting invitations are sent via Evite. If you would like to become a member and recieve Evites to meetings, please visit the Membership page for information. Please note the following about Evites:

Evite seems to have a hard time with many email addresses such as .edu or .org. This is due to security settings set by your email host and is generally beyond our control. if you are not getting evites, please email Shelby with a private email address.

There is no waitlist on Evite. Members who cannot RSVP because a meeting is full should regularly check back on Evite to see if any spaces have opened up as other members cancel. We frequently have a large number of cancellations on the day of the event, so be sure and check for open seats on the day of the event if you could not get onto the guest list.

Members cannot RSVP for other people on Evite, either other members or non-members. Members may only RSVP for themselves. RSVPing for another person is taking a seat away from a member already on the guest list.

Because we have such a large membership and seats at meetings fill up so quickly, attendance at meetings is monitored, and members who no-show for more than 3 meetings will be removed from the database.

If you need to cancel after you have already RSVPd for a meeting, simply do so on Evite.

General CME Information:
* * * * *
Meetings are held the third Thursday of every other month (odd-numbered months) at a restaurant in the city and begin at 6:30 pm. Meetings are a time for members to meet, discuss job opportunities, interact with colleagues, and attend a lecture. Because of increasing difficulty with obtaining category I CME, most of our meetings are CME II. If you would like to receive invitations to meetings, you must become a member. Please visit the membership page for more information.

Other CME Available:

California Academy of Physician Assistants: visit CAPAnet.org for more information on CME and conferences

UCSF continuing education

Pri-Med Continuing Education

Practicing Clinicians: CME aimed specifically at PAs and NPs
